Tyler Ford of Hamilton joined the NJ Department of Corrections in 2014. He was killed in a crash on May 27. LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A 29-year-old New Jersey Corrections Officer was killed in a crash involving several vehicles on NJ Turnpike in East Brunswick on May 27, New Jersey State Police said. The crash occurred around 10:17 p.m. on the NJ Turnpike southbound in East Brunswick. Tyler Ford, 29, of Hamilton was driving a Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle directly behind a BMW. The BMW encountered a three-car crash on its path and came to a stop in the left lane, police said.
