NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — A 29-year-old New Jersey woman is accused of using a fake birth certificate, to enroll at a high school last week, authorities said. According to a news release from the New Brunswick Police Department, Hyejeong Shin, of New Brunswick, was charged on Tuesday with providing a false government document with the intent to verify one's identity or age. Police said that Shin provided a false birth certificate to the New Brunswick Board of Education to enroll as a juvenile student at New Brunswick High School, the release stated.
